Summer Camps 2010

The Coldwater Volleyball Club is pleased to offer area volleyball players these camp opportunities. Each of these camps will be under the direction of long time high school coach, Kent Neitzert. Coach Neitzert has been instrumental in developing volleyball in this area for the past three decades. His knowledge of the sport and how to teach its skills will make these camps a truly great volleyball experience for all who attend. Coach Neitzert has twice taken teams to the Michigan High School Final Four and is the eighth winningest coach in MHSAA volleyball history. Yet he has the ability to teach the fundamentals of the game to the beginning athlete. The number of athletes in each session will be limited so as to ensure adequate player coach contact.
Sessions will be held at the Coldwater Independence Recreation Center and will be held in the evenings to help facilitate getting the athletes to the venue.

Session I – July 6th – 9th. This session is for athletes who will be entering grades 9 through 12 in the fall. Sessions will run from 6-9 pm. The first 36 athletes will be accepted. The cost for this camp is $70, if paid prior to July 1 ($80 after July 1)

Session II – July 12th – 15th. This session is for athletes who will be entering grades 6 through 8 this fall. Sessions will run from 6-9 pm. The first 36 athletes will be accepted. The cost for this camp is $70, if paid prior to July 1 ($80 after July 1)

Session III – July 19th – 22nd. This is a youth session for athletes who will be entering grades 3 through 5 this fall. Sessions will run from 6-8 pm. The first 36 athletes will be accepted. The cost for this camp is $60, if paid prior to July 1 ($70 after July 1)

Session IV– July 26th – 29th. This is a setter’s camp. It is designed for players who have setting experience and want to refine their skills. Sessions will run from 6-8 pm. The cost for this camp is $60, if paid prior to July 1 ($70 after July 1)

If you are a Coldwater Volleyball Club member you will receive a $5 discount on each registration. Any player who played in our 2010 Club program or tried out for any of those teams is registered as a Club member.
